The Gantry Tour
As seen on Sydney Weekender, 5:30pm Saturday on Seven
Behind the scenes is one thing. An ANZ Stadium Gantry Tour will take you above the scenes as well.
The gantry is a steel mesh walkway (don’t look down!) which sits 45 metres above the iconic ANZ Stadium arena. You’ll be wowed by the bird’s eye view as you weave your way through the gantry just a few metres below the Stadium roof.
The gantry houses much of the venue’s lighting and sound equipment and, until now, has been experienced by only a handful of Stadium staff.
The tour was launched in February 2011 in response to the overwhelming popularity of the gantry walk at corporate functions throughout 2010.
As well as the gantry walk, you’ll enjoy many of the perks of an Explore Tour with the change rooms, players’ tunnel and medal dais all on the itinerary.
Gantry tours operate at 9am each day with exception of Thursday, public holidays and selected event days. Bookings must be made 24 hours in advance.

*A child is defined as being between the ages of 12 to 17 years (inclusive). All children under the age of 12 years cannot undertake the Gantry Tour.
**A family is defined as consisting of two adults and up to four children between the ages of 12 to 17 years.
The Explore Tour

An Explore Tour is an inside look at one of the world’s finest and most technologically-advanced stadiums.
On an ANZ Stadium Explore Tour you will:
- step foot on iconic arena which hosts Australia’s premier sports and entertainment events;
- go behind the scenes and see where some of the world’s biggest sports stars prepare;
- experience the thrill of running through the players’ tunnel and standing on a genuine Sydney 2000 medal dais.
Your experienced guide will share their knowledge of the venue and its rich history to ensure your Explore Tour is one to remember.
Tours operate daily at the following times:
- Weekdays, weekends and public holidays: 11am, 1pm and 3pm (not operating on Christmas day, Boxing day, Australia day, Good Friday and Easter Sunday).
Tour times and itineraries are subject to change on event days.
