THE wait is over Bieber fans! Frontier Touring and AEG Live have confirmed that global superstar Justin Bieber’s Purpose World Tour will land at ANZ Stadium on Wednesday 15 March, 2017.
Fans have been waiting with anticipation for this news since the Purpose World Tour kicked off in the United States earlier this year. The Tour will see Bieber hit Australian shores for the first time since 2013’s Believe Tour and will be joined by EDM’s youngest superstar Martin Garrix.
The Purpose World Tour has already wowed fans and critics alike across the United States, Canada and Japan and will tour throughout Europe before landing in Australia next March. With more than 100 huge shows on the tour and close to a million ticket sales globally, there is no doubt that Bieber is at the top of his game with this tour.
Tickets to the hotly anticipated show at ANZ Stadium go on sale 4pm Wednesday 12 October here.
Touring in support of his fourth studio album Purpose – which debuted at #1 in over 100 countries and has sold over 8 million copies worldwide - lucky ticket holders can look forward to hearing worldwide smash hits including ‘Love Yourself' (6x Platinum), ‘What Do You Mean?’ (5x Platinum) and ‘Sorry’ (4x Platinum) live for the very first time.
On pre-orders alone, Purpose skyrocketed to #1 on the iTunes Top Album chart in over 90 countries worldwide. Continuing a year of record making and breaking, Bieber has racked up an impressive set of eight record titles in the new Guinness World Records 2017 Edition book dominating everything from audio streaming to YouTube subscribers to chart domination.
Adding to the hype, Bieber will be joined at all shows by Dutch DJ, record producer and musician Martin Garrix. Since bursting onto the scene at just 17-years-old with mammoth track ‘Animals’, Garrix’s unmistakable super-charged riffs and powerhouse production have seen him become a fixture at the top of the charts and in DJ Mag’s ‘Top 100 DJs’ poll.
In high-demand across the globe, Garrix’s status as a DJ couldn’t get much bigger with packed-out performances at Coachella, Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland, Amsterdam Music Festival and Electric Daisy Carnival under his belt. Alongside all the favourites, audiences at these shows will be among the first to hear Garrix’s latest track ‘In The Name Of Love’ (ft. Bebe Rexha) live, a sublime slice of dance/pop.
There’s no doubt about it, tickets to the Australian leg of Bieber’s Purpose World Tour will be hot property. With no further dates to be added, fans best act quick for the chance to witness this international superstar at the top of his game – don’t miss out!
